Why do I already have habits selected?
Your starting set is chosen from your family history, the goals you gave at signup and your first results, rather than being the same default list everyone gets. You can remove any of them.
Why it works this way
An empty list is the most common reason a habit tracker gets abandoned in week one. Starting from what your own answers suggest means the first few are already relevant, and you are editing a plan rather than building one from nothing.
What you can change
Remove anything you will not do. Beyond the starting set, further habits are suggested from the markers you are behind on, and are added from that marker rather than from a list. Nothing is ever added or removed on your behalf.
How do I add or remove a habit?
Tap Add on any habit in the library. It joins your tracked list straight away, and tapping again removes it.
- Open Habits. Every habit in the library is listed.
- Tap Add on the ones you want to track.
- Tap again on a tracked habit to stop tracking it.
- Removed habits stay in the library; nothing is deleted.
Why it works this way
A checklist of fourteen items every morning is a checklist people stop opening. Choosing a handful you will actually do beats tracking everything badly, which is the same reasoning behind the app ranking priorities rather than listing them.
What you can change
Change your selection whenever you like. Removing a habit stops it appearing on My Plan without losing the history behind it.
How do I choose which days a habit applies to?
Tap a day to select it, tap again to deselect. Each habit carries its own schedule, so a workout habit can run five days while a supplement runs seven.
Why it works this way
Some habits are genuinely daily and some are not. Forcing everything to seven days makes the completion rate meaningless, because missing a habit you never intended to do that day looks identical to skipping one you did.
What you can change
Schedules are per habit. Change them at any time without affecting the others.
Why these habits and not others?
Each one is tied to a marker the app actually scores, so completing it moves something measurable rather than being generic advice.
Why it works this way
Habits like step count, protein target and sleep duration each feed a tracked marker with published evidence behind it. Anything without that link would be a suggestion rather than part of the model, and the habits category covers the evidence for each individually.
What you can change
You cannot add arbitrary custom habits, because a habit with no marker behind it could not be scored or ranked.
